VCFlow.AI – Privacy Policy Last updated: 29 May 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how VCflow Ltd. (“Company”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use the VCFlow.AI Platform (“Platform”).

1.  Information We Collect:

   
• Account Data – name, email address, password hash, user type (Founder / VC), custom attributes (approval status).
   
• Content – Pitch Deck PDFs you upload, AI‑generated summaries (PNG/PDF).
   
• Usage Data – log files, IP address, browser/device information, interactions within the Platform.
   
• Cookies – strictly necessary (session and security) cookies; no advertising or cross‑site tracking cookies.

2.  How We Use Information:

   
• To operate, secure and improve the Platform.
   
• To provide AI analysis and display Pitch Decks to authorised Users.
   
• To communicate with you about your account or support requests.
   
• For legal compliance (e.g., fraud prevention, law‑enforcement requests).

3.  Legal Basis (GDPR):    Processing is based on (i) contractual necessity, (ii) legitimate interests in operating the Platform, or (iii) your consent where required.

4.  Sharing and Sub‑processors:    We do not sell or rent your information. We share data only with reputable cloud service providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services) that process it on our behalf under strict confidentiality and security obligations, or with government agencies where required by law.

5.  Data Retention:    We retain account data and Pitch Decks until you delete them or your account is closed, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

6.  Security:    We follow industry best practices, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and continuous monitoring. However, no system is completely secure; in the unlikely event of a breach our liability is limited to the minimum required by applicable law.

7.  Your Rights:    Subject to law, you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your personal data, or object to processing. Contact support@vcflow.ai.

8.  International Transfers: Data is stored and processed in AWS regions located in the EU. Where transfers outside the EU occur we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9.  Age Limit: The Platform is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

10.  Changes: We will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page and, if they are material, notify you by email.
